People struggle with so much insecurities more now than ever. They are insecure about their appearance, about their status, their career choice.

But if they were to block what other people think about them, they still have doubts about themselves.

And remember, whatever it is you believe about yourself, you become. If you believe you can’t, then you can’t.

So think twice before saying: “I can’t do it”, “I’m too old”, “I’m too heavy”, “I’m too inadequate”, “I’m not talented enough”, “I’m not like him”, “I’m not like her”.

Why are you quick to let yourself down?

And the root of all of this is the existence of a negative voice within you, a voice that chooses to highlight your weaknesses instead of your strengths. A voice that complains and whines, a voice that compares your achievements, with the achievements of others, a voice that says you are never going to amount to anything.

Listen to me, The only person you should be competing with is yourself. Whatever it is that other people achieve, that is theirs their achievements are based on what they do and how they do it.

Find peace inside of you by learning to be genuinely happy for others.

And you are different, you are amazing in your own ways, you are brilliant, you are smart.

Whatever it is you achieve celebrate it, own it.

That negative voice inside you will only gain more power over your life if you allow it to. So choose to silence it.

Trust in yourself, trust that you are going to achieve your goals. You are going to use your wisdom, you are going to utilise your skills, you are going to focus, work hard and sharpen your self discipline even when you feel like quitting, push on through!

You are going to surround yourself with people who fill you up with inspiration, joy, and positivity.

If there is someone you should be comparing yourself to it is yourself. After you’ve grown to a certain extent, in your career, in your health always strive to grow even more. Develop better skills, improve your health, improve your looks, improve your state. All of this in comparison to your past self.

Have a strong sense of self belief. It is not arrogance, it is not about ignoring your mistakes. Self belief is about choosing. Choosing to trust in your own judgement in spite of everything.

Regardless if your results turn out to be right or wrong, you choose to believe. Believe that your decisions are based on what is true for you.

And realize that even when negativity and self doubt enter your life, take a second to remind yourself that possibly the only thing between you and your goals is your unwavering trust in your abilities.
